Every premade game comes with a fixed theme, pre-written characters, and a set storyline. Mystery by Design starts from nothing. Our writers build your mystery entirely from scratch around your guest list, your group's dynamics, and your vision. No two Mystery by Design games are ever the same.
We deliver within 8 weeks of your completed design consultation. After purchase, you'll receive a link to our online design form where you share your guests, ideas, and any details you want woven into the story. Your Creative Writer will then reach out for an intro and collaboration session via email!
We recommend having a close-to-final guest count before purchasing but don't stress if it shifts. Additional characters can be purchased & added within the first few weeks of your kick-off session with your Creative Writer. And the more you share about your guests during the consultation - quirks, relationships, inside jokes, the better your mystery gets.
